The first installment of BNB Chain's annual hackathon series, "Building Smart and Fully-On-Chain Applications," is now open for registration on the developer incentive platform DoraHacks.io.
The hackathon will feature a prize pool of $475,000 and aims to foster the development of applications across various sectors such as AI, Gaming, Infra, DePIN, DeSci, and DeDoc.
Submission Guidelines
Developers are encouraged to submit their projects by the deadline of February 22, with the official conducting online technology workshops during the hackathon to guide participants in building their projects.
To ensure fairness, participants must tweet about their projects using #BuildonBNBChain, tag the relevant challenge, and deploy their projects on or link them to BNB Greenfield, opBNB, or BSC.
All submissions must be open-source and freely accessible, shared through GitHub, planning documents, and a brief video.
Projects must be newly developed for this hackathon.
The overarching goal, as stated on the Binance Smart Chain site, is to integrate more native projects into the growing BNB Chain ecosystem, enhancing the visibility of BNB Chain among developers.
