Vitalik Buterin, the Ethereum founder, recently took to Warpcast to shed light on his latest Ethereum (ETH) transactions, shedding light on his actions.
He explained:
"If you see an article saying 'Vitalik sends XXX ETH to exchange,' it's not me selling, it's almost me donating to some charity or nonprofit or other project, and the recipient selling because they have to cover expenses. I haven't sold ETH for personal gain since 2018."
This was met by mostly ridicule in comments, both in Warpcast and the X.
Worrying Trend
Coinlive previously reported on how Vitalik transferred approximately $15M USDC to Gemini.
Another wallet linked to the Ethereum founder sent 400 ETH, valued at approximately $600,000, to Coinbase.
That notwithstanding, Buterin has also made several other ETH deposits to centralised exchanges in recent weeks.
